Political Street Art: The Mattress of Peace & Jobs for Obama
A couple of random photos for the day while out for a walk here in Obama Country, Brooklyn, USA. These kinds of things pop up regularly around here. The Dreaded Mattress of Peace struck me as particularly funny.
The red paint looks like blood and there was something very Manson Family about it, if you know what I mean..
And then there were these jobs for Obama fliers posted around. Not bad pay either. That's what 52 million dollars buys you.

That mattress! When I first saw the photo, my thought was "Manson!"
A stroll in Brooklyn has a surreal aspect, IMO.
GREAT to see you back again, UI! Are you going to provide us with some heaping helpings of your excellence regarding image examples of the upcoming MTA debauchery campaign? I can't get over the number of folks still unaware of this outrage from the "authorities" within the Bullseye City.
God bless you, fellow infidel... ;)
Always on Watch,
There's a reason why I call my neighborhood 'The Village of the Damned.' I could do a whole photo blog on that alone.
Nice to see you!

Hello Defiant Infidel!
I'm trying to get some more blogging in. There's a couple of things coming down the pipeline, so stay tuned.
The MTA debacle? Yep, I know all about it. "The Bullseye City", that's pretty funny. Never heard that one before. As if it weren't hard enough to live here, we're the number one target in the world.
My feeling is that the terrorists won't attack us on American soil until after the election in November. They want Obama in the White House.

lovely eh?...ahhhhhhhhhh!NYC!

I wholeheartedly agree, UI. And because Israel does NOT want Mini Mouse at our helm, I believe that they WILL attack Iran before the election. It can't come one second too soon, and I pray that we are directly involved to minimize the chances of it being anything less than a stunning success.
I'll be watching for your excellent photo journalistic smörgåsbord. Best to you...
