Exclusive Video Interview with Michael Scheuer
I had the opportunity to sit down and speak with the controversial Michael Scheuer today.
We talked about a variety of topics including, 9/11, al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, Egypt, the rise of global radical Islamic jihad, President Obama, the persecution of Christians in Islamic countries, Tariq Ramadan and the Muslim Brotherhood, the KSM trials, the Ground Zero Mosque, Israel and more.
Scheuer was the first head of the CIA's Osama bin Laden Unit, from 1996-1999 and remained a counterterrorism analyst until 2004.

Outstanding Job, UI !!!
I'll link to it tonight.
Congratulations on the best interview with Scheuer that I have heard. For what it is worth I am very proud of you and hope that you get more opportunities in journalism.
My take is that he draws an artificial distinction between Jews and Christians because of his personal antipathy. This warps his otherwise reasonable analysis. Scheuer has a personal history that affects his agenda. He was demoted before the 9-11 attack.
He could under the logic of his exposition support Israel if Israel did act more aggressively to support threatened minority communities in the region, such as the native Christians of Bethlehem whose basilica was desecrated by the Palestinians.
The effort of Israel to assume that role reached its high water mark with the first invasion of Lebanon and the putative alliance with the Christians. The failure to respond to the Syrian regime's assassination of the Lebanese President at that time, a failure under American pressure, has lead to many problems.
Remarkable interview - both by you and Mr. Sheuer. Very revealing about both his perspective on the current US situation and challenges that our nation faces during these increasingly difficult times. Your clear questions, your ability to remain largely objective and focused, provided Mr. Sheuer to a platform to share a wealth of information. I may not agree with all he had to say but this was certainly a revealing and informative interview.
A very good interview, I'm always interested in what Mr. Scheuer has to say.
Great interview, I have a tendency to dismiss Sheuer because of his warped views vis a vis Jews and Israel (The Islamic ire at US predates any Israel or Israeli politics), but he has some very important points, for example,
- the perceived weakness of US military that has to fight in very limited fashion, this is an obvious weakness to be exploited
- the strong horse principle - Arabs value strength and disrespect those that fail to protect their interests and allies.
Only the elimination of all conservative Christians will allow all Americans to be free and the world to no longer have to live in fear of the U.S.A.'s imperialist, terrorist holy war.
The conservative ideology has never helped mankind in any way, it has not only never helped mankind in anyway, it has oppressed, murdered, raped and killed all those in it's way to gain power.
History shows us this. Fact shows us this.
James Madison, the "Father of the U.S. Constitution", along with many founders of this country, regardless of their religious or non-religious affiliations, knew keeping politics and religion separate not only preserves each, but helps them flourish:
"The number, the industry, and the morality of the Priesthood and the devotion of the people have been manifestly increased by the total separation of the Church and the State."
Scheuer talks, we all listen. I wish I could say that about Petraeus
Al-Bundi, what is there you know about Israel that contradicts the FACT that Israeli officials kept announcing (I hope you can read Hebrew) in their media that they "duped" US into Iraq?
Scheuer knows Israel and its impact just as well as he know al-Qaeda. But I guess people can pick and choose the "expertise" they like and dismiss as "crap" what they don't like. IN the meantime, I know this lady that keeps looking at the wall and asking: "What did my son die for, we got to Iraq before al-Qaeda did; now we're going out and they're still in. So we chase them in Afghanistan instead. M son died in Iraq. Foe what, since we're still chasing al-Qaeda in Iraq?"
Great interview UI! Scheuer is definitely an interesting man with interesting views and opinions. Keep up the great work.
And exactly HOW will you go about "eliminating all conservative Christians" , Adolph?
