September 11th Memorial & Ground Zero Mosque Protest, New York City 2010

September 11, 2001.
An event so horrendous it could only be referred to by the date it took place.

At the mosque protest, I spoke to the sister and mother of fallen FDNY fireman, Gary R. Box. The above photo was taken by someone in a car in the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel as he was running to the scene that morning. The family had seen it only recently for the first time on a website. It was the last photo of him ever taken.

It was an intense and emotional day in New York and for me personally as well. There was so much going on all at once at this sprawling event. So much to see and think about. I'll start at the beginning.

The main memorial event is huge, streets are closed off for blocks. I arrived during the reading the names of victims. It was incredibly emotional. I had to really get a hold of myself as I was completely breaking down in sobs on the street.

Pick-up truck with all of the names of the fallen from the FDNY.

* * *
Working my way through the crowds, there they were, as predictable as mold, the 9/11 truthers.

I skipped by them quickly. No need to linger. One asked I was from the C.I.A.

Next I ran into these two guys below from Florida wheeling a huge cross.

Shortly thereafter, they stumbled into a hippie rally for religious freedom.

So funny to see the Left stick up for religion. Especially when it comes to Islam of all things. It sounded like all that inter-faith dialogue got a little bit heated and overcooked.

Further down the street... I came upon another group gathered.

In the middle of it all was this ex-Muslim gentleman talking about Islam to a group of people and confronted other Muslims. Video below!

Now, on to the rally against the mysteriously funded Park 51/Cordoba House/Islamic Bridge-Building Unifying Community Center-You-Know-Just-Like-The-92nd-St.Y & The YW & YMCA / Landing Gear Mega Mosque at Ground Zero.
It was HUGE. The crowds stretched for a few blocks on both sides of the street.

I have to apologize because one of my camera's memory cards konked out and I was unable to film most of the event. I was, however able to get the seven embedded takes below. Talk about frustration. There I was in a great spot in the press box in the middle of this photo-rich place and no camera.

At the bottom of this post are links to videos of all of the speakers. You don't want to miss them!

Robert Spencer!

Geert Wilders!!

VIDEO: Rosa Leonetti, 9/11 Family Member speaks about Imam Rauf's recent threats on CNN about moving the mosque. This is a must-see!

Thank you for posting the pictures and videos of the Anti-mosque at Ground Zero rally. You are helping to counter the new media's total news blackout of the rally today.

Keep doing what you're doing. Helping to alert Americans as to what is going on is of paramount importance to stopping it.

UI

I was there towards the very end. I have been under the weather and needed to spend time with the step daughter. My health has not been good over the last few weeks.

I did curse out the Neturai Karta contingent. They were not used to being described in as vulgar terms as you can imagine.

Other than my outburst the usual people provoking near brawls were commies. Of course NYPD just never
gets that correct.

Solution
Thanx for your photos and vidios! NO MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO!!!People must protest.Do whatever it takes! Chunk there 100 pigs carcasses, spill some pigs blood, or make BBQ bacon party there,or walk out 1000 piglets - to defile this spot for the muslims and mosque will never appears on this place.Sounds filthy but should work. :)

WHY DOES NEW JERSEY TRANSIT HATE AMERICA AND DESPISE FREEDOM?!?!?!?

The protester who burned pages from the Koran outside a planned mosque near Ground Zero has been fired from NJTransit, sources and authorities said Tuesday.

Derek Fenton's 11-year career at the agency came to an abrupt halt Monday after photographs of him ripping pages from the Muslim holy book and setting them ablaze appeared in newspapers.

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT NEW JERSEY TRANSIT HAS BEEN INFILTRATED BY TERRORIST AGENTS OF PIAPS!!!!!!

GOVERNOR CHRISTIE MUST REINSTATE THIS BRAVE PATRIOT AMERICAN DOING THE WORK OF FREEDOM AND COMPLETELY PURGE NJ TRANSIT OF ALL PIAPS/AL-QAEDA AND POSSIBLY GURU MAGGOT COLLABORATORS!!!!!!!

PIAPS IS ORCHESTRATING DEREK’S DISMISSAL AS A MEANS OF INDIRECTLY ATTACKING THIS MINISTRY WHOSE WISE COUNSEL HAD OBVIOUSLY INSPIRED HIS HEROIC DEED AT GROUND ZERO!!!!

AMERICAPHILE MINISTRIES HAS BEEN REPEATED WARNING AMERICANS THAT TERRORISTS ARE TARGETING URBAN MASS TRANSIT SYSTEMS!!!!!!

ALL READERS ARE URGED TO E-MAIL NJ TRANSIT’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO REINSTATE THIS HERO WHO OBVIOUSLY KNOWS WHAT IS AT STAKE AND TO FULLY ARM HIM SO THAT HE CAN DEFEND AMERICA’S TREATENED INFRACTRUCTURES!!!!!

You know, there were 100s of muslims killed in the buildings at 911, some were in the prayer room of the 1st building when the plane hit. So 19 guys and their nut-job funders =1.2 billion people? I guess saying all those who oppose Obama simply cos he's Black is then tue huh?

To Dread Mighty,

For the record, there weren't 'hundreds' of Muslims killed in the World Trade Center as you said.

The number in fact, was about 33 total. Which reflects their relative number to the overall population. I feel sadness for them as I do for ALL of the victims of the attacks.

PS: Nobody cares if Obama is black. He's a demagogue, a socialist, an anti-capitalist, and anti-freedom.

I am perplexed that so many of my friends are against a mosque being built near Ground Zero. I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant. The mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance. That is why I also propose, that two gay nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque thereby promoting tolerance within the mosque. We could call the clubs "The Turban Cowboy" and "You Mecca Me So Hot". Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and have an open barbeque with spare ribs as its daily special. Across the street a very daring lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret” with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods. Next door to the lingerie shop, there would be room for an Adult Toy Shop (Koranal Knowledge?), its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store, maybe call it "Morehammered"? If you agree in promoting tolerance and you think this is a good plan, pass it on.
