Public Service Reminder: Seat of Political Hate Edition
There's been a lot of talk and blame going on about where all the volatile political rhetoric comes from. The finger pointing from the left and the media is unbelievable.
For those of us who have been on the front lines and those who have been paying close attention over the last few years it's a joke. In my own experience I've been called every name in the book, shoved, had my camera grabbed at, me grabbed at, and struck in the face with the wooden handle [remember when those where allowed at public demonstrations?] of an anti-war sign by one of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition organizers up at West Point. Counter demonstrators waving American flags at anti-war protests have had to have a wall of police protection from the throbbing mobs of hate.
So please! Spare us the lies.
Head over to my new favorite blog, Climate of Hate. There's some of the the classics by my hero, zombie and new ones every day.
Here, for example are a couple of shots I took last spring on the west side of Manhattan. I never posted them here because items of this sort were rather commonplace and mundane as the general 'political civility' went.
I've been doing a bit of winter hibernation lately as my readers surely have noticed. I'm still here and have something big coming very soon, so don't give up on me.

We'd never give up on you UI !!
I'm looking forward to the 'BIG' thingy!!
"Bush Must Die" = freedom of speech.
"Obama is a Socialist" = incitement to violence, is illegal, and must be stopped.
