Terrorist Street Art: Martyred Psychotic Killer Edition
There is rarely a day that one can walk through Williamsburg and not be confronted with something obscene. This pleasant image caught my eye this morning. 
How nice! A severed head from a suicide bomber who has just earned a halo. 
Strange fascination the left has with glorifying terrorists and murderers. This thing is big and loud. It screams on the wall.
The hearts? Well, that's anyone's guess.
In person, it's much, much worse.

That's a lot of effort for ugly vandalism. I feel sorry for the little kids in the neighborhood who are bombarded by this crap. Not to mention the property owners who spend their own money removing it.
That's pretty disturbing.
I know what I'd do if I caught that loser plastering this thing on my property....
This is only different in degree from the product of Shephard Fairey who graduated from his "OBEY" vandalism sticker campaign while a student at RISD to the Obama as Mussolini poster. The Left coalition of 2008 benefited from the emotional release of organized vandalism among supporters who have been conditioned to view politics as theater.
Now that most people are focusing again on politics as being a response to the real world some of those who tasted the frisson of power are desperately acting out to preserve their fantasies. This is not a new phenomenon, the Islamists have been doing essentially the same thing for over 600 years.
This makes a bit of a Hat Trick that I put together, the street art you found, the Obama campaign, and Islamist fantasies of martyrdom. If time permits I will blog.

It's creepy as hell. At first glance I thought those were kisses, but they turned out to be hearts. Same thing, right?
ASVP has a website. Maybe he/she was portraying how terrorists 'love' their martyrs. A commenter at our site said he has seen other art from ASVP

Williamsburg has become a magnet for weirdos, freaks, and hard-core Marxists. It’s too bad because Williamsburg and Greenpoint are really great old New York neighborhoods. I used to spend a lot of time there, but it’s getting harder and harder to ignore the impact of these idiotic hipsters. It’s scary because I’m starting to see some of these smelly beatniks in my neighborhood as well. (Astoria) When my wife and I see them, we often say to each other - Williamsburg is that way!

Williamsburg is a pit of idiots. Such a shame they destroyed the place.
Though this piece of vandalism isn't exactly sympathetic to the splodey-dopes, suicide bombing isn't really a big issue for the artistic left. It's just shock value for it's own sake.
