Taking A Short Break. Well, Sort of...
I am taking a short break from blogging to work on other creative projects. Something that I am hoping will actually make a little money. Will be back soon with more exciting protest photos.
Please feel free to stop in anytime to say 'hello' or talk about anything.
For those of you who might be new here, please be sure to check out my previous photo essays listed on the right sidebar.
Oh, and I've been deemed 'fatwa-worthy' by this radical Islamist blogger living in Britain. Fun for everyone!

Stunning picture.
Wish you well. I think I can speak for many who will miss your work, but who wish you well on your other endeavors.
Best of luck.

Hey Tony,
It's just a short break. There aren't as many events lately so it is also a good time to concentrate on other creative things.
I'll be back out there with my camera again soon. It's too much fun!

Hola...I love that picture although it would rather see the WTC.
Everybody needs a break now and then to reinvigorate themselves. Most summers I usually slow down immensely.
Hi AC!
Hope you are well and feeling better.
I need to take care of other things and almost burned myself out last month with one protest event back-to-back after the other every weekend.
I love that photo too. The tribute in light was one of the best things the city did after September 11th. Everytime I look at our skyline it's like there is a gaping hole. The view from the top of the WTC was one of the most magnificent things you could see. I stil can't believe they are gone. Forever.
Did you see your fatwah wanna issuing friend is retiring from the blogging scene? The comments are funny. I especially liked the one from this guy:
Don’t let the door hit you, where Allah split you.

Congratulations on being fatwa worthy. I am so jealous. I hope your project is successful, and I look forward to seeing you back in action again.
God I miss home. Now if only I can coax you into posting a picture of the Flatiron building.
You received a fatwah...and I have yet to get served with one.
There is no fairness in this world.
Good Luck!
Hey UI! My fellow 'Fatwa Worthy' blogger, congratulations! Amazing photo you have here.
Good luck in your other projects. keep up the good work!
Have fun!

Incredible picture. Wear the Fatwa declaration like a badge of honor, Warrior... I know you will.
