When I was a little girl, we used to have no trespassing signs posted at our 425-acre wilderness horse ranch, but of course the poachers paid no attention --one dark night one of them climbed over the back fence, and shot our beloved, ancient, gentle, oh-so-very-gentle tall, black horse, Knight. ):
