Happy New Year

'Is That All There Is?' by Peggy Lee was always one of my favorite songs as a child and recently I have rediscovered it. Her singing is sublime and I love the old cabaret, Kurt Weil feel to it. Unfortunately this is only half of the song, but I wanted to share it with you.

I want to wish each and every one of you a Very Happy New Year.

From the Basiji to the Nuclear Suicide Bomber?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, stands in front of a picture of militia (Basiji) at a ceremony speaks to the families of those who died in the Iran-Iraq war after speaking at the former U.S. Embassy today in Tehran .

Ahmadinejad said on Sunday 'those who voted for a U.N. nuclear resolution against the country would soon regret it', the official IRNA news agency reported. Iran vowed to push forward with efforts to enrich uranium and to change its relations with the international nuclear watchdog after the U.N. Security Council imposed sanctions designed to stop the country's disputed nuclear efforts.

Where is all this heading? No one can predict but I highly recommend these essential articles by Matthias Küntzel for some background and analysis on the Madman of Iran. Like Hitler, he didn't simply rise out of a vacuum.

Ahmadinejad's World and A CHILD OF THE REVOLUTION TAKES OVER: Ahmadinejad's Demons

"The child-Basiji in the mine fields during the 1980-88 war with Iraq with their plastic keys hung round their necks to open the gates of heaven. They went into the mine fields. Their eyes saw nothing. Their ears heard nothing. And then, a few moments later, one saw clouds of dust. When the dust had settled again, there was nothing more to be seen of them. Somewhere, widely scattered in the landscape, there lay scraps of burnt flesh and pieces of bone.” Such scenes could henceforth be avoided, Ettela’at assured its readers. “Before entering the mine fields, the children [now] wrap themselves in blankets and they roll on the ground, so that their body parts stay together after the explosion of the mines and one can carry them to the graves.” The children who thus rolled to their deaths formed part of the mass “Basij” movement that was called into being by the Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979. "The young men cleared the mines with their own bodies," one veteran of the Iran-Iraq War recalled in 2002 to the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine. "It was sometimes like a race. Even without the commander's orders, everyone wanted to be first."

The sacrifice of the Basiji was ghastly. And yet, today, it is a source not of national shame, but of growing pride. Since the end of hostilities against Iraq in 1988, the Basiji have grown both in numbers and influence. They have been deployed, above all, as a vice squad to enforce religious law in Iran, and their elite "special units" have been used as shock troops against anti-government forces. In both 1999 and 2003, for instance, the Basiji were used to suppress student unrest. And, last year, they formed the potent core of the political base that propelled Mahmoud Ahmadinejad--a man who reportedly served as a Basij instructor during the Iran-Iraq War--to the presidency.

Ahmadinejad revels in his alliance with the Basiji. He regularly appears in public wearing a black-and-white Basij scarf, and, in his speeches, he routinely praises "Basij culture" and "Basij power," with which he says "Iran today makes its presence felt on the international and diplomatic stage." Ahmadinejad's ascendance on the shoulders of the Basiji means that the Iranian Revolution, launched almost three decades ago, has entered a new and disturbing phase. A younger generation of Iranians, whose worldviews were forged in the atrocities of the Iran-Iraq War, have come to power, wielding a more fervently ideological approach to politics than their predecessors. The children of the Revolution are now its leaders.

Nowadays, Basiji are sent not into the desert, but rather into the laboratory. Basiji students are encouraged to enroll in technical-scientific disciplines. According to a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guard, the aim is to use the “technical factor” in order to augment “national security”.

But what is the implication of atomic weapons in the hands of those who interpret death in the battle field as a spiritual triumph?"

It is not a matter of if he'll make good on his threats, but when...

Whatever You Do, Do Not Get Lost in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia: "Trespasser" Sentenced By Islamic Court To Beheading

Saudi Arabia, purported ally of the West, is as far from the West as a country can be. A story from New India Press demonstrates how alien the country is.

An Indian national, 31-year old Jojo Joseph, wanted to see his wife, who worked as a nurse near Medina. She had just given birth to their son.
Mr Joseph, who was based in Jeddah, where he was an employee of an electronics company, traveled towards where he thought his wife was based, and lost his way. He found himself on the road to Medina.

Unbeknownst to Mr Joseph, during the pilgrimage season, this road was forbidden to non-Muslims. He was arrested by police at Al-Azeez, and was hauled before a religious court on Monday. Full of that Islamic tolerance which the Saudis like to promote in the West, the religious court ordered that Mr Joseph should have his head sliced off on Tuesday, merely for "trespassing into a Muslim-only area".
Mr Joseph told his relatives back home in Mariyapuram, India, who contacted
Oommen Chandy, leader of the opposition and former chief minister of Kerala state. Chandy contacted the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and various ministers.
As a result, the External Affairs secretary managed to convince the Saudi Government that Mr Joseph had merely become lost and had no malicious intent.
When the Saudis insist on promoting their religion in the West, and fund groups like CAIR to change the legislation in Muslims' favor, one wonders how they would feel if Muslims were ordered to be decapitated for trespassing on kaffir territory.....

UPDATE: The same story as above is carried by The Hindu, but the Arab News tells a different tale entirely. There are still elements which disturb.
The Arab News states that he was a passenger in a taxi, and therefore the taxi-driver should have been blamed for taking "Jojo" into a forbidden area. It reads:
There is no recorded incident where a non-Muslim was executed for entering restricted space in Madinah or Makkah. Authorities generally treat these violations in much the same way trespassing is dealt with. In cases where the violation seems accidental, authorities will simply escort the trespasser out of the prohibited zone.
Joseph was arrested and detained for three days after the taxi apparently took the wrong route and strayed into the prohibited zone of the city. The man was rushing to a hospital where his wife had given birth. Persons volunteering as morality enforcers spotted the man's maroon work/residency visa (denoting the carrier is non-Muslim) and called police.

Iran's 'Angel of Death' Mohammad-Ali Ramin

On December 14, 2006 the Iranian news agency IRNA reported, in English, that participants in the Iranian Holocaust Denial Conference, dubbed "Holocaust: A Global Vision," had announced the establishment of a "world foundation for Holocaust studies" and unanimously appointed Presidential Advisor Mohammad-Ali Ramin as its secretary-general.
According to IRNA, Ramin said that "one of the plans of the foundation is to assign a committee to find out the truth about the holocaust [sic], and noted that its main office will be in Tehran, and that it "will eventually be transferred to Berlin, once proper grounds are prepared."

Like Hitler's Goebbels, Mohammad-Ali Ramin, also known as the 'Angel of Death' is someone to watch carefully. Inexplicably, wikipedia describes him as a 'human rights activist.' He is the founder of the above-mentioned recent hate-fest in Iran and the head of Nuclei of Sacrificers for Velayat. A few searches on the web produced little information on this 'club' of his, but it does not sound good, whatever it is.

This is an individual who while on a visit to Gilan University, said to a group of students in the town of Rasht: 'We Iranians are definitely not, and never have been, nationalistic, and we are not against any ethnic [group]. We certainly do not worship race, nor [are we] against any race, and we nave never perpetrated genocide. This is why Islam, which appeared and advanced [the notion of] equality among nations and among peoples, greatly appealed to us Iranians. We have accepted the [principle] of equality among nations since the days of the Achaemenids. [2] Antisemitism, therefore, has no place in our Iranian [culture]. I myself honestly fight for just treatment of Judaism. Ten years ago, [when] I first brought up the issue of the Holocaust in this country, my intention was to defend the Jews…

then of course, predictably in Nazi fashion went on to say:
'But among the Jews there have always been those who killed God’s prophets and who opposed justice and righteousness. Throughout history, this religious group has inflicted the most damage on the human race, while some groups within it engaged in plotting against other nations and ethnic groups to cause cruelty, malice and wickedness. Historically, there are many accusations against the Jews. For example, it was said that they were the source for such deadly diseases as the plague and typhus. This is because the Jews are very filthy people. For a time people also said that they poisoned water wells belonging to Christians and thus killed them.'

Ayaan Hirsi Ali on Holocaust Denial

Ayaan Hirsi Ali wrote an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times this weekend, entitled, 'Why They Deny the Holocaust.' I have written about her before, as I am completely in awe of the strength, brilliance and reach of influence of this woman.

Exerpt from the article:
In order for me to be admitted to the university I wanted to attend, I needed to pass three courses: a language course, a civics course and a history course. It was in the preparatory history course that I, for the first time, heard of the Holocaust. I was 24 years old at that time, and my half-sister was 21.
In those days, the daily news was filled with the Rwandan genocide and ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia. On the day that my half-sister visited me, my head was reeling from what happened to 6 million Jews in Germany, Holland, France and Eastern Europe.
I learned that innocent men, women and children were separated from each other. Stars pinned to their shoulders, transported by train to camps, they were gassed for no other reason than for being Jewish.
I saw pictures of masses of skeletons, even of kids. I heard horrifying accounts of some of the people who had survived the terror of Auschwitz and Sobibor. I told my half-sister all this and showed her the pictures in my history book. What she said was as awful as the information in my book.
With great conviction, my half-sister cried: “It’s a lie! Jews have a way of blinding people. They were not killed, gassed or massacred. But I pray to Allah that one day all the Jews in the world will be destroyed.”
She was not saying anything new. As a child growing up in Saudi Arabia, I remember my teachers, my mom and our neighbors telling us practically on a daily basis that Jews are evil, the sworn enemies of Muslims, and that their only goal was to destroy Islam. We were never informed about the Holocaust.
Later, as a teenager in Kenya, when Saudi and other Persian Gulf philanthropy reached us, I remember that the building of mosques and donations to hospitals and the poor went hand in hand with the cursing of Jews. Jews were said to be responsible for the deaths of babies and for epidemics such as AIDS, and they were believed to be the cause of wars. They were greedy and would do absolutely anything to kill us Muslims. If we ever wanted to know peace and stability, and if we didn’t want to be wiped out, we would have to destroy the Jews. For those of us who were not in a position to take up arms against them, it was enough for us to cup our hands, raise our eyes heavenward and pray to Allah to destroy them.
Western leaders today who say they are shocked by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s conference this week denying the Holocaust need to wake up to that reality. For the majority of Muslims in the world, the Holocaust is not a major historical event that they deny. We simply do not know it ever happened because we were never informed of it.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali immigrant who served in the parliament of the Netherlands until earlier this year wrote the script for Submission, the infamous short film directed by Theo van Gogh. She is also the author of "Infidel," an autobiography to be published in February.

Her upcoming book is at the top of my reading list.

Blind Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman Near Death

Terrorist cleric Omar Abdel Rahman, the so-called Blind Sheik, may be nearing death — leading to fears that his demise could trigger an attack on the United States, officials said Thursday.

There is no credible indication that an attack on the U.S. is imminent, said several law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation.
In a two-page bulletin, dated Dec. 8, the
FBI reported to federal intelligence officials that Rahman was rushed from prison to a Missouri hospital two days earlier for a blood transfusion. There, doctors discovered a tumor on Rahman's liver, according to the bulletin, which was described to The Associated Press by a law enforcement official.
Officials said the bulletin served merely as a reminder that Rahman had called for retaliation by terror sympathizers if he died in prison. It cited a May 1998 press conference where al-Qaida members distributed his last will and testament, in which Rahman pleaded for followers to "extract the most violent revenge" should he die in U.S. custody.

The FBI did not have immediate comment on Thursday.
Defended by convicted terrorist lawyer, Lynne Stewart, Rahman was sentenced to life in prison after his 1995 conviction for his advisory role in a plot to blow up New York City landmarks, including the United Nations.
His health has deteriorated in recent years, and he was transferred in September 2003 from the federal Supermax prison in Colorado, where the country's most notorious inmates are held, to the U.S. Medical Center for Prisons in Springfield, Mo.

Prisons officials have said Rahman has suffered from diabetes, which has threatened the loss of his limbs.

Bring Ahmadinejad to Justice for Incitement to Genocide

Today at the New York County Lawyers' Association important national and international legal scholars will discuss the repeated threats by President Ahmadinejad of Iran in violation of the 1949 Genocide Convention. Among those who will address this timely and critical issue are:
Ambassador John Bolton, Outgoing U.S. Ambassador to the UNAmb. Dore Gold, Former Ambassador of Israel to the United Nations Professor Alan Dershowitz, Harvard Law School MP Irwin Cotler, Former Minister of Justice of Canada Amb. Meir Rosenne, Former Israeli Ambassador to the United StatesAmb. Eytan Bentsur, Former Director General, Israel Foreign Ministry MK Danny Naveh, Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Professor Ruth Wedgewood, Johns Hopkins University, Martin Peretz, The New Republic.

also in today's Financial Times:
Move to charge Ahmadi-Nejad over Israel remarks
In one of his first acts since leaving his post as US ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton will on Thursday call for legal proceedings against Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad for incitement to genocide.
Mr Bolton will join Dore Gold, a former Israeli ambassador to the UN, Irwin Cotler, a former Canadian attorney-general, and Nobel peace prize winner Elie Wiesel in claims that a series of public statements against Israel constitute a crime under the Genocide Convention.

'In Thrall of Freaks' in The American Thinker

Vasko Kohlmayer wrote an excellent article in The American Thinker on his observations of our protest. He is someone who should be read often.

From the article:
Incredible as it may seem, it is these strange-looking people that determine the ideological orientation and objectives of today's Democratic Party. To get them legislatively implemented, the Party deceptively puts up a more polished façade of Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, John Kerry, Dick Durbin, and Hillary Clinton. But make no mistake - these slick politicians for the most part share the worldview of Ms. Stewart and her comrades. Lamentable as it is, the present Democrat Party is in the thrall of extremist freaks. It is enough to go on a couple of the most popular liberal websites such as Daily Kos or Democratic Underground to see that this is in fact so.

Born and raised in former communist Czechoslovakia, Vasko Kohlmayer is a naturalized American citizen. His work has appeared in The Baltimore Sun, The Washington Times, Frontpage Magazine, The American Thinker, The Jewish Press, RealClearPolitics, and others.

12/15/06 Update:
Mr. Kohlmayer is about to publish a more extensive article incorporating impressions drawn from the protest.
More to come soon... stay tuned.

Crash of the Lynne Stewart 'Gloat Party'

We crashed Lynne Stewart's 'GLOAT PARTY' last night at the Judson Memorial Church downtown across from Washington Square Park. It was a rousing affair to say the least and it came as a complete surprise to the Lynne Stewart folks who were throwing her a celebration called 'Ode to Joy and Struggle' thanking everyone for their support over the 4 years during her trial and also to 'unite for the struggle ahead'. 'Struggle' they say? As in 'Mein Kampf' maybe? As in 'jihad' too perhaps..?

The protesters where harassed and called 'Nazis' of course, and the KKK over and over and told us to 'shut up and to go back to Long Island and Westchester' by a moonbat waving the Hitler salute. At moments it seemed like a horror movie or freak show.

Ward Churchill, exultant in his nighttime radical sunglasses and leather, breezed in for the party for the terrorist lawyer fresh from celebrating the 25th anniversary this afternoon of the death of a Philadelphia police officer murdered by Mumia Abu Jamal. The Quaker guy in the black hat stayed outside most of the time deriding the protesters and calling them terrorists like a preacher from Hell. The guy in the green jacket launched into a sputtering, spraying,Tourettes-like 'F--k America' performance piece on the steps of the church, while the Communist in red satin yelled that 'America was the Enemy of the world!'
A man, who turned out to be Lynn Stewart's husband [pictured below] came out, and physically threatened one of the protestors and was soon backed up by a mob of very angry looking Mumia supporters.

Things looked like they were nearly going to blow when my camera unfortunately died at that precise moment. They backed away a little bit when they saw me approach to take pictures. The police were called in and the protestors had to move back a couple of feet to the side. I do believe I managed to catch the terror-enabling lawyer on film on the very last shot.
Not pleased to see usNot at all.

At one point one of the moonbats, apparently in a case of mistaken identity, turned to me in shock and said, 'Can you believe this is happening?'

They came out on a cold night to stand up for America.

"DON'T TREAD ON ME"

Moonbat was confused.

"But, but, but.. she's a grandmother!"

Could be a scene from Burn Witch Burn...

Green Jacket Guy's screaming 'F--k America!' fit.

A true patriot. Threatened by the 'Free Mumia' mob.

Purple is the new death and desolation.

Quoted: "Go ahead, take my picture. The FBI already has photos of me."

Ward Churchill wearing t-shirt of Joanne Chesimard, aka Assata Shakur, an escaped cop killer.

Couldn't wait to get in to party with the Devil.

 No words needed.

Ward Churchill peeks out from inside the church.

Imagine what it was like inside...
 Uh.OH!

Making a political statement.

Communist in red satin yelling: "America is the enemy of the world!"

Communist with pamphlets for his hero, cop killer Mumia-what's-his face.

Convicted terror lawyer, Lynne Stewart.

French-Algerian Scholar Warns France

French-Algerian Scholar Dr. Kamal Nait-Zerrad: "After Christianity and the Inquisition... Today It Is the Muslims Who Have Taken Center Stage"

Dr. Kamal Nait-Zerrad is a professor of Berber language, literature, and civilization at the French National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations; in addition, he holds a Ph.D. in micro-optoelectronics. He is the author of several reference works on Berber languages, and has recently published a partial translation of the Koran into the Kabyle dialect.

In an article posted on the French website www.kabyles.com, Dr. Nait-Zerrad warns the French that Islamists are using them as unwitting dupes to undermine the secular French republic. He argues that religions must change in order to adapt to a universal course of human development, and that Islam has not done so, and thus become reactionary. He also asks whether there are Muslim authorities with enough courage to engage in a project of critiquing and reforming Islam.

"Will There Soon Be Punishment For Blasphemy [In France]?""... When one sees what is going on in Europe, and in France in particular, one has to ask oneself if one has not fallen on one's head. From small compromises, there has been an imperceptible slippage into large compromises of principle. Following the assassinations and the threats, in the last few days things have been cranked up, to self-censorship. Will there soon be punishment for blasphemy?"Freedom of expression and freedom of thought everywhere have been, are, and will [always] be regularly endangered by individuals and groups... After Christianity and the Inquisition, Torquemada, and Savonarola... today it is the Muslims who have taken center stage, supported by intellectuals or politicians, who perhaps have something for which to reproach themselves, but who at the same time are paving the way for the Islamists."Intellectuals, associations, and French political parties are in fact showing such complaisance with regard to the Islamist movements that it borders on oblivion or naïveté - together of course with their ulterior electoral motives, and such confusions as 'French [citizens] of North African origin = Arabs and Muslims,' who must be attracted at any price.

"However, some of the North Africans were never Muslims (nor are they Arabs, for that matter), and they are concerned at the backing given to radical Muslim ideas in France. These [North Africans] - these people who come from a country where Islam is the state religion and who denounce what is going on there - are not entitled to speak to the television cameras. They are only taken seriously if they stay within the communal compartmentalization in which they have been placed once and for all."

"With The Help Of Useful Idiots, [The Islamists] Are Shattering The Secular Edifice Of The French Republic - In The Name Of Human Rights""Have we already forgotten Afghanistan and its Taliban, Algeria and its terrorists? It is true that the scandal of the amnesty granted to fundamentalist terrorists in Algeria is hardly discussed anymore; they are even granted indemnities, and are simply reintegrated into society, with a compensation package!" In France, they want to sanction certain Muslim customs or practices, and public funds are used for the construction of mosques. Now, what is going on in the so-called 'Muslim' countries? In Iran, does a woman have the right to walk in the street without a hijab or a chador or a jilbab or who knows what else? No! Foreigners (journalists, Western ministers, and others) must wear the veil! In Saudi Arabia, can one build churches, synagogues, or other temples (and I do not even bring up centers for culture or free thought)? There is no question here of speaking about reciprocity, but only of showing the insidious and fallacious sides of those who slowly but surely - with the help of 'useful idiots' - are shattering the secular edifice of the French republic - in the name of human rights!"

"For Islam, The Christian Or Jewish Non-Muslim Can Only Be A Dhimmi""The fact is that Islam never foresaw a situation in which it would be in the minority. So long as one has not understood this, one cannot understand the Islamist movements. This is symptomatic of the Muslim vision of man, of human relations, and of other religions. For Islam, the Christian or Jewish non-Muslim can only be a dhimmi. Fighting against infidels is commanded in the Koran in these words [9:29]: 'Fight those who do not believe in Allah and in the last day, who do not forbid that which Allah and his Messenger declared forbidden, and who do not practice the religion of truth, among those who have received the Scripture! Fight them until they pay the jizya (poll tax), directly, when they are humiliated.' The jizya is reserved only for those who have the Scripture - that is, Jews, Christians, and to a lesser extent, Zoroastrians. As for the others - pagans, animists, free-thinkers, agnostics, and atheists - they have no other recourse but to convert to Islam or die."The study of the Koran allows one to point to the potential for intolerance that emerges from it and its outdated conception of law and justice. In essence, human rights have evolved in the direction of greater respect for man and his physical integrity. Some speak of a new interpretation of the Koran that is adapted to modern times. However, the political, social, or moral concepts in the Koran are intangible, and the Muslim cannot modify them or reject a part of them without being accused of heresy - unless [such modification] comes from a recognized authority."

"Where Are The Reformers?""Objectively speaking, one cannot deny the fact that the Koran - like certain texts of other religions, for that matter - is anti-feminist. In Algeria, there is a fundamental contradiction between the constitution - which is supposed to be the basic law - and the family code. This brings us to the problem of the separation of [political] authority and religion in these countries. This separation, which is necessary for individual fulfillment, can only be attained if one sacrifices shari'a, with Islam becoming a personal religion. But where are the Muslims who will tackle this project? Who will propose another path... Where are the reformers?"God Himself is said to be at the origin of the three great monotheistic religions. Each one then should be perfect, and always relevant, in any given era. But the Koran accused the Christians and the Jews of having falsified the Scriptures, and declared the[ir religion to be] invalid, with Islam remaining the only valid and certain religion. Now, as historical and scientific studies on the genesis of the [Koran] have shown, this accusation can be fired back at the Koran itself...[...]"To come back to human rights, the contemporary conception of these rights is completely different than that which was current just one century ago. It has become more personalized and more universal..."It is thus time for Islam - insofar as it is a 'great religion' - to critique itself and adapt to this evolution. The question is whether there exists a Muslim authority strong enough, with both the will and the courage, to start and to carry out this long labor - which would enable society to definitively and legally silence the Islamists and their henchmen."

Taraji Mustafa, Canadian-Sudanese Activist Establishes Sudanese-Israeli Friendship Association

Here is another extraordinary brave woman who knows all too well what she is up against. Taraji Mustafa, is a Canadian-Sudanese activist who is not afraid to speak her mind freely and holds her own remarkably well considering the host is not pleased with her outspoken ideas.

Here is an absolute must-see VIDEO clip, translated and presented by MEMRI that aired on Al Arabiya TV just a few days ago.

Interviewer: Do you have any popular or official mandate to establish the Sudanese-Israeli Friendship Association, or is this your own personal initiative?

Taraji Mustafa: First of all, I do not need a mandate to talk about my personal beliefs, or those of some of the Sudanese people. None of the Sudanese friendship associations, like the Sudanese-Indian or the Sudanese-Swedish associations, and many others, needed a popular mandate. Why do I need a mandate to establish a friendship [association] with that part of the Israeli people that believes in friendship?

Walid Shoebat Denied Entry into Canada Again

Former terrorist, Walid Shoebat, has been refused entry into Canada by Immigration authorities, today. Shoebat is scheduled to speak at the Simon Weisenthal Center at 7:30 p.m. in Ottawa tonight and in Montreal tomorrow. He is often invited to speak about his life as a terrorist and about his transformation from extremist to peace-maker and activist against terrorism.

The refusal by the Canadian authorities to let Walid Shoebat in the country shows the absurd policies of immigration officials,” says Keith Davies, director of the Walid Shoebat Foundation. “Mr. Shoebat is trying to educate people about the dangers of terrorism, but is refused entry because he has admitted to his involvement in terror over 20 years ago. Why should the Canadian authorities want to silence his important message?” On September 10, 2006, Shoebat entered Canada without incident when he was invited to speak on Canadian National TV. He also been to Canada three times in 2004 and his story has been featured by much of the media in Canada.

UPDATE from WorldNetDaily:

The rejection came yesterday from immigration officials at the Toronto airport, even though Shoebat was carrying with him letters showing his good standing with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as well as an invitation letter from the Wiesenthal centers in Ottawa and Montreal, said Davies.
When he arrived at the Toronto airport, he was told he would not be allowed into Canada, and after waiting for several hours, flew back to the U.S., Davies said, even though Shoebat had been admitted to Canada just a few weeks
earlier.

"What's most ironic is that he was replaced by another speaker, who happens to be a Canadian citizen (by naturalization) who has admitted to killing (hundreds) of Arabs in gang warfare (during his youth)," Davies said.
That replacement speaker is Zachariah Anani, who often works with Shoebat, Davies said.

"Certainly it was a political move," Davies said, citing a similar incident a few years back when Shoebat was to speak in Vancouver, but "active supporters of terrorism" wanted to have his voice stopped so they made complaints to the border police. The official reasoning given for the travel permission denial, Davies said, was that Shoebat "might be a security risk."

Iranian Sci-Fi TV Series Stars Mega-Evil Jewish/Zionist Queen in "Black House"

Radical Islam's War Against Women

Sigmund Freud would have a field day analyzing the subjugation and virtual elimination of women from Islamic society.

- Western Resistance has a report from Malaysia:

Malaysia: Islamists Demand Women "Cover Up"

Kota Baru (Kota Bharu) is the capital city of Kelantan state, Malaysia. Its municipal council is run by Islamists who are allied to the PAS party. Kelantan is the only state to have a PAS majority. Led by Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang, the PAS party was first registered on May 31, 1955. Formerly called Persatuan Islam Se-Malaysia, it now calls itself Parti Islam Se-Malaysia. PAS wants to have an Islamic government which rules the entire country, irrespective of ethnic or religious belief, under the principles of Sharia law.
In 1990, PAS gained control of Kelantan state from then prime minister Mahathir Mohammad's UMNO party, and in Kota Baru Municipal Council (MPKB), Islamist laws were soon enacted. In 1996, the city council ordered that all supermarkets should have separate check-out lines for males and females, though this was loosely enforced. Additionally, unisex hair salons were banned, and thus many hair salons had their clientele halved.
Lipstick-wearing at work was banned, cinemas were ordered to keep lights on during performances (lest un-Islamic things went on in the dark) and women were ordered to wear the tudung (the Malaysian equivalent of the Hijab or Muslim headscarf), whilst at work. In 2000, 23 women were fined for not wearing this garment.

- DhimmiWatch has an even more disturbing report from Gaza:

Sharia Alert from Gaza: "Gaza women warned of immodesty."
A hitherto unknown group calling itself the Just Swords of Islam issued a warning to Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip over the weekend that they must wear the hijab or face being targeted by the group's members.
In pamphlets distributed in various parts of the Gaza Strip, the group also claimed responsibility for attacks on 12 Internet cafes over the past few days.
The warning was directed primarily against female students in a number of universities and colleges who do not cover their heads in line with Islamic tradition.
The group said its followers last week threw acid at the face of a young woman who was dressed "immodestly" in the center of Gaza City.
They also destroyed a car belonging to a young man who was playing his radio tape too loudly.
Addressing female students, the group said: "We will have no mercy on any woman who violates the traditions of Islam and who also hang out in Internet cafes."
According to the group, its members used rocket-propelled grenades to attack 12 Internet cafes and a number of music shops in different parts of the Gaza Strip.
It said the places were targeted because theywere "distracting an entire generation of Palestinians from their duty to worship [Alla] and jihad so that they could serve their Zionist masters and the Crusaders."

.... And when women are not being dehumanized, stripped of their rights and attacked, they are being used for terrorism.

- Militant Islam Monitor has this report:

Muslimah held in UK for not disclosing husbands planned Jihad and martyrdom - wrote of sacrificing child

A Dutch Muslimah as been arrested in the UK on suspicion of involvement in terrorism. Her Syrian English husband the 27 year oldYassin N. has been behind bars since May 30th. British justice officials are accusing the Moroccan Muslimahof keeping silent about her husbands terrorism plans. Which is a crime in the UK since 2000.
According to prosecuters Bouchra had written a letter in which she rejoiced in her husbands martyrdom plans for jihad. She also glorified her own martyrdom and was prepared her to sacrifice her 1 year old son Mohammed. Her lawyer said she never intended to engage in terrorism and her glorification of holy war only had 'poetic' meaning. Investigators searched her home in Eindhoven and the home of Bouchra's parents. The couples apartment in London was also searched. The police confiscated her husband's laptop and found a martyrdom letter. The couple was arrested on May 30th at Luton airport. The woman was released. She was rearrested on September 7th.
The trial against the couple will begin 2007.

Terror Television: The Rise of Al-Jazeera and the Hate America Media

It comes as no surprise that Al Jazeera is an operative of terror networks.

This VIDEO from Stop Al Jazeera focuses on Al Jazeera's complicity in global jihad.

If the West loses the global war on terrorism, Al-Jazeera, the influential anti-American Arab television network primarily known as a mouthpiece for al-Qaeda, could claim responsibility.

From the indispensable MEMRI, Iranian TV: Puppets of Bush, Blair, Rice, Rumsfeld, and Schwarzenegger in Spitting Image/DC Follies-Style Follies series. The show aired on Iranian Channel 2 on October 27, 2006.

Here's just a little sample of the moronic dialogue from the puppet show:

George Bush: "Brother, I swear on your life that I'm feeling really down."
Tony Blair: "What's bugging you, Georgie?"
George Bush: "Let's pick some country, and beat the shit out of it."
Tony Blair: "Which country, for example?"
George Bush: "I don't know. It must be a place that we can take on - not like some places where we tried, but got stuck."
Tony Blair: "What places?"
George Bush: "I don't want you to name names. It will make me feel bad."
Arnold Schwarzenegger: "Boss, can I mention one of them? Iran."
George Bush: "Oh, I hope you choke, I hope you catch a disease. I hope you suffer some incurable pain. I hope you get the measles. I hope you get cholera, diphtheria, tetanus..."

George Bush: "Again, I didn't get what you're saying."
George Bush: "Calm down a minute... Condoleezza! Condoleezza! Condo! Condoleezza! Oh, may she drop dead. Condoleezza!" Condoleezza Rice [waking up and yawning]: "Condoleezza will choke to death in two hours..."
George Bush: "The hell with you, what kind of language is that?"
Condoleezza Rice: "I just wanted to lay down and die."
George Bush: "I hope you go to sleep and never wake up. I hope a scorpion stings your bulging eyes, the hell with you. I hope a tarantula bites you in the neck. I hope a two-headed snake coils around you, so I can get rid of you."
Condoleezza Rice: "Oh, somebody stop him. Soon he'll have all the animals here."

And it just goes on and on in this infantile way.. Full dialogue can be viewed here.
