Political Street Art: The Bradley Manning Traitor Edition - Updated 6/25! - Updated 6/26!

I came across this huge street painting of Bradley Manning in Williamsburg, Brooklyn tonight.

Align CenterHere's a wide shot to show just how big this thing is.

'Hero'? Yeah, some hero. Sworn to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution and gave away national defense information. I call that a traitor.

Speaking of traitors, President Barry is in town today and kicked off his visit at a gala LGBT fundraiser where he talked about his 'evolving' position on gay marriage.

UPDATE! Saturday, 6/25
One of my readers sent me these two below photos early this morning. Someone thought so highly of this 'art' they decided it would be better if it were 'enhanced.'

In an attempt to cover the word 'traitor' that was written across Manning's face, a plastic bag or some sort of tape was placed over it. So my reader took the plastic off and shot the second photo. Hat tip: The Stone Man.

UPDATE! Sunday, 6/26
As I suspected it would be, it was repaired. There was no way the freaks in this area were going to let an image of their idol stand besmirched.

But ... you can still see traces of the word 'traitor' bleeding through the whitewash.

And the blacked out tooth.

Political Street Art: The Weiner Edition

This was a nice surprise. A little Weiner street art right smack in the middle of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

A nice big one.
About three by four feet, give or take.
There is no missing this baby.

The Left rarely skewers their own in street art, so you can say things are pretty much finished on the Weiner front.

I'm hoping to see more anti-Obama street art in the coming year.

Yes! We've seen your weiner!

Anti-War Street Art: The Crochet Edition

From the wilds of artsy fartsy Brooklyn comes something a little bit different. Crocheted political street art!

The proper term, I've just learned is 'Yarn Bombing.'

"WAR IS YESTERDAY"? Really? Looks like war is today and tomorrow and pretty much forever.

The Undocumented President of the United States has to account to Congress for his own 'yarn bombing military kinetic action' in Libya.

You Gotta Love Brooklyn: The Islamist Terrorist Dictator Countdown Edition

I saw this eye-catching arrangement on a shelf at one of my favorite regular pet supply stores, Pet Delight in Brooklyn. The very patriotic Jeff, who owns the place, has a great sense of humor.

Yassir Arafat [the expression is priceless!] and Saddam Hussein.

Oddly enough this is supposed to be Qaddafi in Libya. I never would have guessed it. It must have been taken from a very early image before he morphed into the Michael Jackson of Middle East dictators.

"Only one left to go!"? They are going to have to add a few more to the list as the region continues to go up in flames.
