Iranian Hitler in New York City

Ground Zero
Monday morning a gathering of diverse and dedicated patriots came to Ground Zero to stand up against the Iranian Hitler, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who threatened to desecrate our hallowed soil with his foul presence only days before. He never showed up. Thank God.
Desiree Bernstein, whose brother-in-law was killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center was the star of Ground Zero protest. A self-described 'Islamo-realist' she had the entire crowd rapt with her empassioned, and inspiring speech about waking up and facing the facts about radical Islam. A force to be reckoned with, every single word from her lips was the absolute truth.

At one point a young German woman wearing a clownish sunglasses, a pinstripe suit and flip flops came along and told us that 'America is the the most violent country' and that 'Iraq was a peaceful nation before the American invasion.' She got quite an argument naturally as several spectators, foreign and American acquainted her with reality.
Great action shots of her foolishness and Desiree's awe-inspiring preaching are all here in my Ground Zero slide show.

After the Ground Zero demonstration ended, I headed uptown for the second protest at Dag Hammerskjold Plaza at the United Nations. When I stepped out of the subway at Grand Central Station at Lexington Avenue, the entire street had been closed off for traffic for blocks. In the distance there were dozens of law enforcement and government vehicles, police vans, black sedans, flashing lights and an eerie quiet. Someone very important was on their way to the UN. Quickly I whipped out my camera and managed to take a few shots as they sped by. Could this have been the
Mad Midget's Motorcade?

The United Nations

There was a huge turnout at Dag Hammerskjold Plaza. Reports put the numbers over 25,000. Was a great show of support for the state of Israel and for the free world against the rantings of a genocidal dictator hell-bent on hastening the return of the Mahdi and his own personal apocalypse.

No Holocaust? Take a look at that tattoo, Mr. Dictator!

This lovely Persian Lady still has the fight in her!

Thousands of good people all came together. Unified against hate. How wonderful it was to be there. Here are the photos that I took.

Next up: Utter Derangement at Columbia University

Columbia University
Some very strange things go on at this Ivy League college...

Seeker of truth?

Love letter from one Jackass to another. The Islamic Thinkers Society is in perfect step with Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's hastening of the Mahdi.

The book is upside down, stupid.

There were plenty of sane people on hand to combat these idiots.

Here is my the slide show of the heated protests at Columbia.

I will be covering the massive protests against the Islamic, Genocidal, Woman Stoning, Child Hanging, Hezbollah / Hamas Supporting, Jew Hating, Death-to-America-Chanting, Maniac Midget at Ground Zero, the United Nations and at Columbia University where it he scheduled to speak on Monday. Photo essay and report will follow!

In the meantime, here are my photos and report of the reception we gave him last year that Charles at Little Green Footballs so kindly turned into a slide show and posted before I created my blog.

Muslim Day Parade

A parade is usually a happy joyful event. Music, dancing, reveling in life. This was more of a march than a parade and a somber and depressing one at that. Here is my first slideshow of the first part of the event. There are four more to follow. I invite you to please look closely at them all. The pictures speak for themselves.

Before the dirge-like march began, I took photos of a huge blue plastic tarp that was unfurled to ready for the opening prayer--which seemingly took forever. It outstretched the entire intersection at 41st Street and Madison Avenue. The men were gathered in the front and the 'sisters' were told, as they already knew, to sit in the back. They did and took their places all the way in the back.

The Infidel Wanders Into the Tent
I wound my way across the edges of the mat taking pictures, being careful not to step on anyone. Then I spotted a good place right in front to under a tent to take a few shots ...

... and
wound up here. I thought it was quite unusual for a woman to be leading at the very apex of this massive prayer. I had seen her earlier carrying the Palestinian flag. Perhaps there is some significance in that.

After taking a handful of pictures, a man suddenly came hastily running up on my right with his arm outstretched. He cried out, 'You can't stand there. You have to move. You broke their prayer!' I realized it was none other than Democratic New York City Councilman, Robert Jackson who I had photographed at a previous CAIR protest against Omar Mohammedi back in May.

Here are the photos I took of that moment in time under the tent.

I had no idea I had just short-circuited their connection to Mecca. Stepped on the 'third rail' as it were. I guess you can see from their faces here below, that they weren't too happy about that. If looks could kill.

New York Democratic Congressman, Anthony Weiner was there.

I followed the march down Madison Avenue. There were only chants of 'allahu akbar' and 'East to West, Islam is the best.' Not a very inclusive message when you think of it.
Here are the photos that I took on the way down to 23rd Street. Lots of interesting and strange sights to see indeed.

Here is my last photo slide show for the day. In it are photos of the protests that took place at the end of the march. It is quite long so bear with me and I will probably divide it into two parts at some point tonight.
Update:
Atlas Shrugs was there..
She's got VIDEO and lots of pictures too!. Go there now!

I want to thank Jihad Watch, Little Green Footballs, Atlas Shrugs
and Neal Boortz for the links!

The Islamic Thinkers Society showed up. Not a happy bunch of fellows, are they?

Opening Day of School Press Conference on the Steps of City Hall

Frank Gaffney, Center for Security Policy: Frank Gaffney is the Founder and President of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C.

Stop the Madrassa held a press conference today on the steps of New York City Hall on the first day of school. According to their press release, they are announcing the launch of a new national organization, as well as an intensified initiative to force New York City to respond to Freedom of Information Law requests concerning textbooks, lesson plans, curricula, correspondence and design documents for the Khalil Gibran International Academy.

The new organization, Citizens for American Values in Public Education, will expand the fight nationwide to stop the imposition of radical Islamist agendas in curricula, Arabic language programs, history classes, textbooks, teacher training, and charter schools. The organization is distributing a new publication nationwide in October: "Stop the Madrassa: A Citizens Guide to Islamist Curricula In Public Schools." An early draft of the publication will be released at the press conference.

Supporters also demand the immediate closing of the Khalil Gibran International Academy in Brooklyn New York. Stop the Madrassa succeeded in forcing the resignation of KGIA's controversial founder and first principal, Dhabah Almontaser.

Candace de Russy is a former State University of New York trustee and a higher education reformer.

Jeffrey S. Wiesenfeld is a former aide to Governor Pataki, Senator D'Amato, Mayor Ed Koch and other public officials and a current trustee of the City University of New York and other educational institutions and non-profits.

Some of the other speakers included:
  • Barry Farber, New York radio talk show legend.
  • Frank Gaffney, Center for Security Policy: Frank Gaffney is the Founder and President of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C.
  • Pamela Geller is a New York resident, parent and community activist, and the founder of the popular website Atlas Shrugs.
  • Beth Gilinsky, a media and political strategist, is a civil and human rights leader known for her bold activism on international, national and local issues.
  • Rabbi Jacob Goldstein is based in New York City.
  • Pamela Hall is a New York City resident and parent, is also a spokesperson for Stop The Madrassa Community Coalitions, and NYC chapter coordinator for the United American Committee.
  • Stuart Kaufman has over 38 years of legal and business experience. In 2002, Mr. Kaufman was one of the founders of Fortress Global Investigations, an international investigations and security consulting firm.
  • Brian Rooney, Thomas More Law Center, is an attorney, and as a Marine Captain spent two years recently in Iraq.
  • Rabbi Aryeh Spero is president of Caucus For America and is a columnist for Human Events.
I had to go through a security check before being allowed up on City Hall steps. I realized suddenly that I don't have a press pass. I'm not technically the press, so I convinced the police officer that I was a photographer and part of the group holding the press conference.

The speakers were empassioned. The press was hostile, of course. Questions put the the speakers during the Q&A were couched in the most racist of inferences.

At one point one of the speakers said that in order to better fit into American society Muslims have to be able to be made fun of just like everyone else, in reference ensuing threats and violence in response to the Mohammed cartoons. Despite the immediate silence I clapped loudly. An Arab reporter turned around and gave me SUCH a look! I noticed that he had very little scribbled in his notebook, but I bet he'll spin this story like a top in his terror zine, or whatever he writes for.

Thank God we live in a country where people can stand up and say 'no.' I doubt they'd be able to get away with this in Europe these days.

Dr. William Donohue, a former professor, is president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights released this statement to the press today.
