Allen West Honored with the 2013 Freedom Flame Award
Last night Allen West was bestowed the 2013 Freedom Flame Award by the Center for Security Policy at the Union League Club in Manhattan. Richard M. Scaife was awarded the Terry Elkes Sacred Honor award but was unfortunately not able to attend the ceremony.
I was so very honored to be invited and to have the opportunity to meet Allen West. He was the most friendly, humble and down-to-earth person you can imagine. A true soldier and patriot. I asked him if he would please run for president and he said, 'If I am called I will answer.'
Video of the speeches to come courtesy of the Center for Security Policy, so please watch this space. You don't want to miss Allen West's acceptance.

New York City Mayoral Race 2013
This great, old Giuliani campaign poster was for sale in an antique shop in in Stonington, Maine a couple years ago. It was only ten bucks. I still wish that I had picked it up but I've got nowhere to put it really. My guess is that it was from his first campaign in 1989 when he lost against David Dinkins. And we all saw how that turned out.
I voted for Rudy Giuliani the three times that he ran for office and have not voted in the NYC Mayoral races since his second term. Quite simply, there is just no one to vote for and this election year isn't any different.

Obama is Evil Street Art: My Little Red Magic Marker Edition
There are a few dozen of these blank 'Draw Something 2' posters stapled up all over my neighborhood asking to draw something 'cute' or 'sweet' and others along those lines. The draw something 'evil' version provided horns as part of the original template and someone had already drawn a face.
